Andrea Bocelli Foundation al World Economic Forum in Davos

Dialogue and collaboration, vision and inspiration lie at the heart of continuous and aspiring growth.

The Andrea Bocelli Foundation operates in complex socio-economic contexts, employing educational approaches and tools such as art, music, digital platforms, and life skills to help individuals and communities realize their full potential.

Since its inception in 2011, ABF has raised over €70 million, supporting 43 active projects across 26 locations worldwide, reaching 450,000 direct beneficiaries and 3.8 million indirect beneficiaries every day.
ABF has rebuilt 12 schools in Italy and Haiti, providing daily access to education for over 20,000 students, and facilitated access to essential resources such as clean water and medical care for more than 500,000 people.

“Ten years later, we return with the same emotion and gratitude. In January 2015, I was honored with the Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum in Davos. I ideally shared this recognition with the wonderful people who have been and continue to be by my side: my wife Veronica, my family, the team, and the volunteers of the living laboratory that is the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, where it finds its greatest strength.

The World Economic Forum is an extraordinary laboratory, a visionary workshop of ideas that aims to reflect on the world and find solutions to improve it. I remember being struck at the time by two key concepts, the central themes of that edition: trust and opportunity. These words have been the cornerstones upon which I have built my life, fully realizing my potential and aspirations.

I have been privileged to receive, both in my career and personal life, that I have sought to give back in tangible ways to others, offering “trust and opportunity” in turn – values that encapsulate the very essence and DNA of ABF.

Ten years after that prestigious recognition, we return to learn and account for that act of trust and that extraordinary opportunity. As we return, we are delighted to share the progress made by the foundation in the intervening years, both in Italy and around the world, fully aware of the undeniable responsibility that awards – especially those of a humanitarian nature – carry. That responsibility is to continue to be worthy of them every single day.”
