THE PROJECT

Thanks to the joint contribution of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Community Jameel, the London Royal College of Music (RCM) – one of the most prestigious conservatories in the world – will be able to launch a new scholarship for singers, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year.

The Andrea Bocelli Foundation-Community Jameel Scholarship will promote the training of full-time students at the RCM who will be selected based on their merit (assessed through an audition) and their financial situation. This will allow us to help talented students overcome barriers and gain access to world-class training courses.

BACKGROUND

This project is part of the RCM’s wider awareness raising and promotion campaign called “More Music: Reimagining the Royal College of Music”, which is focused on:

improving the College’s facilities.
providing support to the most talented students;
offering greater access;
promoting innovation.

ABF Voices Of Program

A globally oriented strategic program, ABF Voices Of is an educational journey inspired by the transformative and generative power of music. It fosters talent development and strengthens transversal—particularly socio-emotional—skills in children and youth living in socially vulnerable contexts.

ABF Globalab Program

Launched in Italy in 2021, ABF Globalab supports young people aged 16–35 in developing socio-emotional and transversal skills essential for navigating school and professional pathways, entering the labor market, and shaping their life projects.

ABF Edu Program

This program promotes integrated education and care systems within schools (ages 0–19), public spaces, or buildings undergoing regeneration, supporting methodological and pedagogical innovation through the daily activities of ABF Art, Music & Digital Labs.

ABF Edu-Care Program

This program supports children and young people who face hospitalization by integrating education into their healing process. Caring for a person means caring equally for their learning and their health, so they may fully express their potential.

ABF  Empowerment Actions Program

An adaptive program that supports individuals and communities through targeted actions. In contexts of particular fragility, support includes nutrition, health, and environmental care—always connected to the educational activities promoted by the
